Corazon de Vino
Benefitting The American Heart Association
CORAZÓN DE VINO
Fri, March 31st, 6-9pm
Every year, through Go Red for Women, a group of select individuals are nominated across the country to be a part of Woman of Impact. These individuals are recognized by the American Heart Association because of their passion and drive to make a difference. This year San Antonio native, Jamie Gonzalez, has been nominated for this award. A local 'food activist', Jamie has been a growing force in changing how culture of how San Antonio eats. As "The Produce Lady", she strives to develop feeding programs that support an equitable food system, food accessibility and food literacy in areas that need it most. RE:ROOTED has partnered with Jamie in a pledge to raise awareness and funds to support the programs of the American Heart Association.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States. Join us in the fight by purchasing your tickets for 'Corazón De Vino': $10 for each ticket sold and 15% of the sales of the evenings Corazón wine package will be donated to the AHA.
